MISSION STATEMENT

Our purpose  is to honor our Veterans , past, present and future. The Watford City Veterans Park's mission is to plan, build, equip and maintain a park to honor  veterans who have honorably served their country. This includes any period of service beginning with the American Revolution. We want to promote patriotism and to recognize veterans of all military forces, past, present and future.

GOAL

The goal is to raise funds & accept donations to support the Watford City Park Boards "Veterans Park". The main goal is to provide and enhance the current Veterans Park and to provide a quiet place for individuals and families to honor their loves ones who so proudly served.

Kick off donation

On Patriots day September 11th 2015, American Legion -Carl E Rogen Post #29 made a donation of $100,000 to the Watford City Park Board for the "Watford City Veterans Park Project". Representing the Park Board was  Watford City Park Board were members Allen Shelley and Leanne Voll. Representing the American Legion was Commander Harold Larson, Gaming Chairman Glenn  Wahus and project coordinator Jerry Samuelson.
